A very special little nook, nestled in the centre of Galle, basking in the glorious sunlight with the waves lapping at the door. Founded in 2015 by two guys from the UK, The Shack Beach Cafe has grown into the best breakfast and lunch spot in Galle. Producing its own cheeses and smoked foods, it prides itself on serving the freshest foods and juices in the area – there is also a No Plastic policy here so don’t be surprised when your water arrives in a wine bottle! It also sells a range of organic products from Greenfield Farm and has its own shop where you can buy clothing, accessories, jewelry and surf gear – you can even rent an Enfield motorbike there!
